Stumbled upon the pretty useful web site, that shows all the date from buoys in the water off the North Carolina shore:

and the one I'm interested in particular the Oregon Inlet Buoy:

Currently it shows:
Air Temperature (ATMP): 80.1 °F
Water Temperature (WTMP): 77.4 °F
