It's now official , Barack Obama is elected to be the next president of Unites States of America.
McCain called Obama to offer his congratulations.
Many people I know are very happy with this outcome. I'm happy with this result as well and just a little bit concerned that the House and Senate will have Democratic majority as well. It's always better to have some balance in the governmental structures. Hopefully everything will work out well.
The presidency, I assume, is very demanding job (the presidents are getting old for some reason really fast) , and with everything that is left so broken in so many places it will be probably ten times more challenging. In addition to all this Obama, certainly, will get some more pressure for being the first african-american president,and as a result he would have much less margin for errors.
It's going to be very difficult job and all I can wish to him is the best of luck!
